The Associate, Talent Acquisition is responsible for: developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to ensure that recruiting deliverables support Ferring’s business needs. This role is responsible for meeting with internal hiring managers to discuss recruitment strategy; and filling open positions for hard to find niche roles.
Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment process life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
Ensure Talent Acquisition function is aligned with industry standards and best practices. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations. Develop and implement overall recruiting and diversity stra! tegy for the company.
Develop and implement sourcing strategy including: job posting optimization, recruitment branding, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing.
Counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
As the primary subject matter expert provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and human resources colleagues with hiring and employment data.
Minimize vacancy fill time and utilize cost effective recruiting approaches to hire quality candidates.
Develop recruiting metrics (diversity, sales, EEO, applicant flow, source of hire, etc), develop targets and monitor metric data.
Project Manager for staffing projects including sales expansions, and conversions.
Act as primary contact for applicant tracking system configuration and training.
Negotiate contracts and fees with staffing agencies, vendors and consultants.
Evaluate and execute employment events, su! ch as career fairs
Manage contract recruiters as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of 5 years experience recruiting for Pharmaceutical or Medical Device companies, a combination of corporate and agency experience is required.
- Expert level knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components, including: search strategy, sourcing, engagement, qualification, assessment, candidate relationship management, compensation, and on boarding.
- Certification in Human Resources is preferred
- Previous experience working with external vendors and staffing agencies required.
- Proven ability to demonstrate ROI for each of the past 3 years
- Previous experience creating and implementing recruitment model
