The Radiology Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling any radiologic procedures via computer system and assisting patients upon arrival for appointments. Responsbilities will include Radiology file room coverage including making CD's, digitizing films and importing CD's, and preparing film releases. Additional duties will include: procedure workflow for low dost CT exams for Navigator, preparing patient charts, faxes, patient identification bands, lab checks, and coverage for Radiology D epartment control desk as needed. Quality assurance auditing for SCI scheduling, pending exams fax report verifications and Nighthawk reports. Heavy telephone work including voicemail retrieval and follow-up calls.
Position requirements: High School Diploma, or equivalent required. Previous scheduing skills and medical terminology experience preferred. Excellent computer skills, telephone and customer service skills required. Able to work independently.
Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM, Saturday rotation
Pay rate: $12.20/hour (interal transfer rates may vary)
