's interested and available for contract assignments in Labor and Delivery and/or Mother/Baby.
These contracts are throughout New Jersey and run from 8 to 13 week contracts.
Duties may include - Labor & Delivery :
Assessed and observed newborns and obtained abgar score.
Assist in the vaginal, vacuum and forceps deliveries of neonates.
Provide care for high-risk antepartum patients including PTL, PROM, and patients on tocolytics.
Care for pre-eclamptic and eclamptic patients on Magnesium Sulfate.
Care for patients with IFMs, IUPCs, amnioinfusions, and interpreting EFM strips.
Precept new RNs and student nurses.
Charge duties including the triage of all patients.
Circulate and scrub for c-sections and tubal ligations.
Charting on the QS system and entering birth certificates
Mother/Baby
Maternal/Child unit.
Care provided to ante partum, postpartum, post-op, med-surge
OB/GYN and newborn pati! ents with occasional floating NICU.
requirements:
NJ licensed - RN
minimum of 2 years hospital experience in the past 3 years in Labor and delivery and/or Mother/Baby
Available for Contract and/or per diem - days and Night shifts available
