Nutritionist III

Description: University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey is looking of Nutritionist III right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field. ADA registration preferred. Master's Degree preferred. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. Wor! k requires problem-solving skills utilizing basic scientific medical principles. Must be knowledgable about pharmacokinetics and interactions with other medications. Must be able to work and make independent judgments regarding nutritional patient care. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Effective public speaking is an asset.
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the Nutritionist is to develop individualized dietary plans for Eric B. Chandler Health Center (EBCHC) patients using established nutritional guidelines set by the American Dietetic Association. Provides training and nutritional counseling to all patients assigned to the Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, HIV, OB/GYN, or Pediatric collaborative. Develops and participates in center-wide and comuunity based educational activities and in-services.
