The Financial and Controlling Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and updating financial planning, budgeting, evaluating financial impact of changes, for cost control and evaluating the consistency between actual spent and physical progress for the manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly provide an overview of the financial situation for the project director to take decision.

Responsibilities:
Establishes processes & procedures for financial commitments and ensures that these processes are followed

Leads budgeting and forecasting processes and contr! ol costs for the project and enters project budgets/forecast i! nto the Financial systems

Is involved and supports legal department and Engineering Dept in the definition and review of contracts with third parties.

Assesses the financial impact of design or construction changes and defines a process for approving these changes.

Participates in the development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with Project planning, Procurement and Engineering.

Supports project planning and Engineering to define an effective project plan template that can be utilized for schedule development, schedule control, and critical path analysis.

Analyzes, evaluates and forecasts current status against the established baseline schedule and the physical progress achieved for the project.

Prepare and update monthly project reporting.

Assists Project Director in preparing presentations/reports for the project.

Performs analytical review and arithmetic checks of cost reporting document! ation.

Setting up the finance and controlling organization for the future operational site

Responsible to validate any expense or CAPEX spent for the manufacturing site before any commitment is placed to third party.

Advocate for Project Management improvement.

Requirements

Must have a CMA, MBA or CPA. A minimum of 5 years in finance or experience in a comparable position is required.

Must have the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects and knowledge of ERP systems; ORACLE knowledge is a plus. The ability to work well as an integral part of a large Project Team that includes all Engineering disciplines and to build relationships within the Project team and with support organizations is required.

Good communication (both written/verbal) and listening skills; an ability to persuade others by using evidence (facts and figures) to justify arguments is required. Must be fluent in English. Must have good i! nfluencing and negotiation skills to accomplish the same goals for inte! rnal and external (e.g. sub contractors) stakeholders, according to PMO/Project and business need.

Knowledge of project planning tools and Microsoft office is required.

The ideal candidate will:
Have the ability to represent the business to the customer/external stakeholders as required.

Understand engineering disciplines, work package management and work package control.

Have good analytical skills; identifying failing areas of the business across the program and ensure a continuous improvement culture is prevalent at all times.

Have the ability to combine attention to detail with ability to see underling trends and issues from a mass of information.

Have a structured/methodical approach to all planning/tracking tasks.
