POSITION DESCRIPTION FOR STAFF OB/GYN PHYSICIAN Employee responsibilities for OB/GYN services include: Re! porting responsibilities to the Medical Director; consultation to the CCHN President and CEO, coordination of OB/GYN services, scheduling and performance with colleagues employed in provision of OB/GYN services by CCHN, direct clinical supervision and periodic performance evaluation of Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners and liaison with the staff of the South Jersey Regional Medical Center Department of OB/GYN, Our Lady or Lourdes High Risk Perinatal Program and with other assigned women's health agencies or organizations.
On Call Services: Agrees to 9 on call days per month. Additional coverage may be necessary from time to time due to extraordinary circumstances. Employee Patient Care and Schedule: Outpatient Obstetrical and Gynecologic Services to CCHN patients in accord with a schedule to be mutually agreed upon by Employee and CCHN and inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecologic services to CCHN patients at South Jersey Healthcare, in accord with a s! chedule of coverage for obstetrical deliveries coordinated wit! h the Medical Director / Director for Women's services, and other qualified, contracted and collaborating providers to ensure 24 hour per day - seven days per week inpatient obstetrical coverage. Schedules of service and call rotation hours shall be posted at the Vineland OB-GYN Health Center at least a month in advance and shall be considered part of this contract.
