The Manager, HRIS will ensure the Human Resources Department has necessary systems and processes in place to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate HR systems capabilities and make recommendations and proposals for improvements in systems and processes. Develop detailed project plans, lead, and manage implementations of HRIS solutions tailored to meet business needs; ensure ensuring deliverables are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop functional and system configuration requirements for new HRIS solutions, as wells as enhancements and system changes. Collaborate with system users and subject matter experts to determine business needs! and best approaches for the user community with respect to do! cumentation, end user query tools, and training materials. Work to strengthen the HRIS knowledge partnership among HRIS function, HR subject matter experts, IT, and vendors. Coordinate user acceptance testing, and work directly with end-users to manage tasks associated with testing. Maintain system configuration table content related to various areas of functionality. Conduct business process re-engineering to identify opportunities of improvement, and make appropriate recommendations; ensure processes and systems are optimally aligned and that they follow industry standards and best practices Act as primary contact for system vendors; work directly with system vendors to troubleshoot and determine solutions for complex issues. Strengthen reporting capability for the HR customer base.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree is required A minimum of 5 years of functional business analyst experience is required Proficiency with HRIS software, preferably more th! an one application Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills (experience and comfort with Project and Visio preferred) Ability to analyze business processes and system technologies to develop, implement, incorporate and enhance the use of systems. Ability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present clearly to all levels within the Company Experience with complex queries and reporting. Experience working collaboratively with IT and HR staff Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear business requirements Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and shift work seamlessly when priorities change Experience in managing vendor relationships and driving vendor deliverables
