Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to clinical development programs & study designs
2. Stay updated on relevant statistical methodology and tools
3. Interact with regulatory agencies (EoPh 2, pre-NDA meetings, etc.)
4. Coaching statisticians/statistical programmers assigned ! to the project(s) (share and provide sufficient biostatistical! /clinical context/knowledge, provide clarity on tasks, etc)
5. Coordinating across trials documents/activities (e.g., preps for IB, ISS, ISE , EoPh 2 package)
6. Setting high-level project standards
7. Shared responsibility for SAS global database (dynamic repository) in SDD
8. Efficient CRO management of statistical tasks for projects/trials
9. Interact with internal and external clients to prepare project proposals (e.g. in KoL meetings)
10. Act as a trial-statistician (responsible for study design, statistical section of synopsis/protocol, statistical analysis plan, performing analyses, statistical reports, clinical study reports)
11. Act as a randomization-statistician
12. Participate in, or initiate departmental tasks (e.g. updating SOPs)
13. Be involved in due diligence activities
Qualifications:
- Master Degree or PhD in statistics/mathematical statistics is re! quired
- Minimum 5 years experience as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical industry required
- Good knowledge on regulatory statistical guidelines
- Ability to communicate statistical issues to non-statisticians
- Effective problem solving skills
- Good scientific reporting
- Good working knowledge of SAS
- Fluency in English
- Ability to coach others
- Eagerness to share knowledge
- Innovative, flexible and self-starter
- Team player
- Good interpersonal skills and good verbal/written communication skills
- Keen on working in an intercultural environment
