We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager of Application Delivery to work in our Secaucus, NJ location. Responsibilities include:
- Management oversight of a team of 3 - 4 applications staff
- Develop staff and colleagues including answering questions, setting priorities, establishing goals and meeting deadlines. Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
- Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans; conduct colleague performance reviews.
- Direct and coordinate activities of multiple projects through all phases of project implementation.
- Manage all phases of application systems analysis, development, validation, deployment and support.
- Manage timely deliverables for assigned projects, including serving in role of project manager as assigned.
- Establish and enforce service level agreements
- Assist with selection, implementation and deployment of Windows based hardware and software applications.
- Coordinate any necessary hardware and software modifications, system updates and maintenance, and test changes.
- Devises or modifies systems and procedures to solve complex problems and produce specified results.
- Maintain expertise and keep informed of developments and trends as they relate to the technology used at Continuum Health Partners. Monitor and contribute to the organization's competitive edge by developing and executing best in class I/T strategies and processes.
- Performs technical functions including supporting and troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems for the departmental applications environment as necessary.
- Manage customer relationships and communication with Senior IT Management.
- Provide superior communications to customers, senior IT management and other stakeholders during critical issues.
- Available 24x7 on-call and for scheduled maintenance windows.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned or perform other duties when necessary.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
- Some travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in a departmental application support setting with advanced level of knowledge in regards to the operations of departments.
- Minimum 3 years previous management experience.
- Must be proficient in application maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a technical support team
- Ability to adapt to change
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills and project leadership skills are paramount.
