Overview
Atlantic Medical Group's Women and Children, is currently seeking an experienced CMA to provide clinical support in several practices.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e., managing patient flow, rooming patients, vital signs, patient intake, administer medications, phlebotomy, EKG's, register patients and schedule in a practice management system, provide back up for front end staff when necessary, and perform all other CMA duties typical of a physician practice in multiple specialties.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program preferred
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
- Pediatric and/or OBGYN experience a plus
- Travel among multiple physician practices required
- Knowledge of an EMR perferred
