Summary: Lead and Manage global and strategic projects for Product Supply and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, cost and quality targets. Transfer product knowledge into Product Supply. Product Contacts are responsible for ensuring technical support related to a specified product and proacti vely review product performance. Proactively advocates the use of QbD, Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead/manage projects, from project initiation to closure including after action reviews covering the full Product Supply scope (Technical, Operational Excellence and PS Projects)
Point of contact for ensuring technical support related to specified product/s. Ensure appropriate product performance review is in place (eg. Continued Process Verification).
Proactively review and support product or manufacturing improvements/changes in collaboration with the relevant manufacturing site. Assist with writing, reviewing and approving of CMC documentation in connection with submissions to regulatory agencies.
Take accountability for the technical acceptance of reliable and well understood manufacturing processes into Product Supply.. Transfer the knowledge from the sending unit to receiving unit and Product Steward/Contact :Partner w ith R&D, TPMâs, sites and CROâs to ensure knowledge is captured and transferred). Proactively engages with all parties and advocates the use QbD principles
Active participation in design, trial execution and data analysis associated with the projects. Writing and reviewing project documentation including project plans, test protocols, risk assessments, reports
Responsible for expanding and continuously updating a scientific knowledge base. Advises on Scientific and Business developments (including Technology, Processes, Regulations etc).
Requirements:
Degree in pharmacy, chemical engineering or natural science.
At least 8 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology development or production, with demonstrated project management experience.
Working knowledge QbD, Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies.
Good knowledge of various types pharmaceutical
manufacturing processes/technologies.
Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence and work across organisational boundaries.
Good communication skills, excellent command of English and preferably another European language.
Ability to work well as an integral part of a large Project Team but also as a self-starter. Effective leader and keen on working in a cross-cultural environment.
Experience with validation of pharmaceutical processes according to current guidelines.
