Description: Atlantic Health System is presently looking of PD Diagnostic Med. Sonogr right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. AHS is seeking a candidate for a per diem Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Shift is 8am-4pm, including weekends on call. A High school diploma is required. Completion of an appro! ved school for Ultrasonography, and registered technologist required.
Candidate must be registered in Physics and a specialty. Abdomen (preferred), OB/HYN (preferred), Neuro (optional), Vascular (optional), Breast (preferred), BLS, and is responsible for maintaining continuing education credits. The candidate selected for this position will Follow State, Federal, Professional, and Departmental guidelines while performing diagnostic ultrasound. Imaging includes: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renals, Endovaginal, Aorta, Testicular, Thyroid, Breast (preferred).
Demonstrates superior customer services skills,Effective communication skills with interal/external customers. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Follows AHS PRIDE values. Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems, teleradiology.
