Shift: 8 hours/ Days/Mon-Fri

Term: This is a 3! month contract position with ongoing opportunity available

Our client is looking for an RN with cath lab experience.

Physical Demand:
This position requires frequent standing.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others and supports patient safety initiatives.
• Assesses patient's condition, including biophysical, psychosocial, age specific needs, and safety needs.
• Documents patient's status according to unit specific and nursing division policies and procedures.
• Develops an individualized plan of care utilizing the nursing and medical diagnosis.
• Collaborates with other health care team members in formulating plan.
• Implements the nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
• Evaluates patient's status, nursing instructions, appropriateness of the nursing plan of care, and outcomes of the care provided.
• Initiates ! a patient education plan according to the individualized needs! of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital procedure, including patient and family instruction as well as discharge planning.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
• Recognizes, supports, and utilizes evidence based nursing practices.
• Other duties as assigned

Essential requirements:

• The ideal candidate will possess at least two (2) years cath lab experience
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing. BSNs preferred.
• CCRN a plus

Qualifications include:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• The physical ability and perceptual acuity, (e.g., visual, hearing) to satisfactorily perform all direct and

indirect patient care functio! ns.

• Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year acute care experience in the area of expertise within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement).
• Successful completion of the Maxim screening for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the RN practices

with a score of 80% or greater.
