Job Summary:
The Local Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation, performance, and strategic execution of the Local Marketing Specialist and the Personal Registry Advisor elements of the Juvenile Service Model Initiative Expansion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the key imperatives of the Local Marketing Specialists through providing leadership on best methods to acquire hospital network partnerships, providing benchmarks and analytics on selecting 'high return' obgyn offices, and assisting with the leveraging other professional partnerships to drive Registry creates and traffic into our stores.
- Work closely with LMS team to ensure development of comprehensive local marketing strategies that drive traffic and registry sales for multiple store markets.
- Medical Marketing Lists: Maintain the master database of medical marketing lists (OB/GYN offices and hospital networks), with regular updates from each of the LMS
- Procure and distribute marketing materials to LMS and PRA for medical marketing partners and in-store collateral (Big Baby Books, Coupons, Gifts, etc)
- Use marketing contacts and solicit new opportunities for national partnerships with medical and related professionals that provide services to expectant partners for possible in store events
- Analyze bi-weekly reports of in-store creates and coupon redemptions tracking performance, and address concerns with performance during weekly calls with the field teams
- Develop training programs and define needs for ongoing support to help LMS to solicit/visit OB/GYN offices and build new partnerships with hospitals
- Manage ongoing marketing budget at HQ, and approve travel reimbursement
- Lead and facilitate weekly LMS calls to garner best practices and drive strategy as well as occasional travel with LMS teams to assess marketing strategy and LMS role effectiveness
- Support the key imperatives of the Personal Registry Advisors. This will be achieved through implementation and maintenance of training programs, materials, and tools to ensure that the PRA team is focused on building registry value and purchase rates in the stores.
- Field questions from the field and HQ partners related to the program responsibilities or roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing
- 5-7 years marketing retail or related experience
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong oral/written communication and presentation skill
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to travel occasionally, as business dictates
